Caoimhe is a principal officer in the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, innovation and Science with responsibility for the development of the inaugural government policy on student accommodation. This includes the support of government through strategic policy development and funding to activate supply of student accommodation in Ireland. It focuses on interdepartmental cross cutting priorities and actions under Housing for All.
Prior to this role Caoimhe spent 5 years as head of higher education funding in DFHERIS and Department of Education and in major school project design and delivery. Caoimhe has a Masters in Business from Technological University of the Shannon (TUS).
