Lidan Designs is a Sustainable Modular Construction Off-Site company, wholly Irish owned, based in Roscommon. Lidan provide a turnkey solution from Design, Manufacture and Installation. Its buildings are recognised as the most sustainable buildings being currently built in Ireland with an extremely low Embodied Carbon Score attaining less than half the RIAI 2030 targets. Lidan buildings are fully Timber Frame with Insulation, for example, of wood fibre and cellulose. Lidan buildings are Modular but yet Permanent having in >60 Year Lifespan. They also are all Near Zero Energy Buildings with a BER of A and exceed all current Building Control and Regulations. Lidan are currently building Modular Buildings that meet Passive standards of Air Tightness and U-Values which dramatically reduce the operational energy requirement and cost significantly less to run. Lidan have been heavily focused on Innovation which was reflected in our win at The National Enterprise Awards in 2021 ‘Future Focus’ for their achievements in ‘Innovation & Sustainability’ – This was across all Industries and not just construction. Lidan’s are focussed on delivering for the Public Sector where our clients include The Department of Education, Fingal County Council, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, The Office of Public Works and our projects range from Schools to Housing, Offices and Public Amenities.
