Gavin joined the Department of Education in February 2023 as a Senior Architect in the Professional & Technical Section of the Planning & Building Unit.
Prior to joining the Department of Education, Gavin has over 30 years of experience working in a number of private architectural practices in Ireland and Internationally. This experience includes the design and construction stages of a wide range of building types including education and school projects.
Gavin is currently co-ordinating the review of the School Design Guidance and Design Team Procedures published by the Planning & Building Unit.
