Margaret Brennan
Margaret Brennan is a Senior Architect in the Planning and Building Unit of the Department of Education where she provides professional and technical guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality school buildings.
A qualified Architect she has over 30 years’ extensive experience in delivering school buildings in both the private and public sector in Dublin, London, Boston and Berlin.
Margaret is currently the Senior Architect and Project Team Lead in the Major Devolved Projects Section.
Her role is to provide guidance into the design, management, and construction of a large portfolio of new, extended, and refurbished primary, post primary and special school building projects which are being delivered through a multiple of delivery programmes.
Building on lessons learned, through direct engagement and consultation about learning environments with schools over the last 12 years.
Margaret has progressed hundreds of school buildings that inspire learning, nurture pupils and are a source of pride for their communities.
