Shane McNamara

Shane is a primary school teacher specialising in additional educational needs, with a passion for creating inclusive learning environments. He holds a Postgraduate Degree in Special Educational Needs and a Masters in Behavioural Science.
He served as Deputy Principal of St. Michael's House Special School, Foxfield, before opening a new special school campus for Foxfield in Swords, Co. Dublin, where he acted as Principal for two years.
Currently, he is seconded to the National Council for Special Education (NCSE) as an Advisor for Behaviour for Learning and Wellbeing. His mission in all his roles has been to foster inclusive environments for all students.
