Tamsin Thomas

Tamsin is a Senior Associate at Design Engine Architects, with particular interests in Education, Community and Historic building projects.

She is a passionate believer in architecture as a backdrop for positive human experience, particularly for children and young people.

Her 20+ years of work within the education sector span the state and private sectors, from early years to higher education buildings.

Tamsin is currently heading up the teams delivering a Further Education College for States of Guernsey, a new Science building for an independent school, the rejuvenation of a campus for a renewable Energy business, and the re-ordering of a local church. She also leads Design Engine’s training and outreach programme; mentoring students and running workshops and talks at careers events for local schools.
